Posted by tony in : Technology , add a commentI’m no huge fan of Microsoft, since I’m a Unix guy and all but the Live Writer package was recommended to me by the guy that runs this blogging server. I thought I’d give it a try. So far, it seems to work pretty well and be fairly painless in terms of configuration. A couple of settings and it does the rest. I must admit, I love tweaking but sometimes having the simple stuff “just work” is nice. You can get the software here.

Posted by tony in : Pointless , add a commentWell, I finally broke down to add a blog to my website. I really have never posted anything on a website before as my life has been seemingly uninteresting. But I guess that’s what makes the blog world interesting… no life is required! I thought it may be a good time to start documenting the happenings with the family and some other projects I’ve got going. Plus, after opening a flickr account, its a good way to document and share my mass of photos I have archived on my PC.
